New office bearers of Infant Mary OCDs Community, Bajjodi
The triennial election of the Infant Mary community was held on 26th of September 2021 at 9.30am. Fr. Deep Fernandes, Delegate Provincial of the Secular Carmel officiated the election. The Spiritual Assistant Fr. Ivan Dsouza and 19 OCDS members were present. Gracy Fernandes, the President welcomed everyone. Fr. Ivan D'souza presented a bouquet of flowers to Fr. Deep Fernandes. Gretta Lobo, Secretary read the Annual report. Fr. Deep Fernandes explained the importance of Secular Carmel and gave a few guidelines on the procedure of the election.

The following were elected for the next three years.
President: Asuntha Mendonca
First Councillor: Sylvia Mascarenhas
Second Councillor: Gracy Fernandes
Third Councillor: Leena Cornelio

Fr. Deep Fernandes after seeking their consent confirmed them in their respective offices. Asuntha Mendonca proposed the vote of thanks.

We congratulate the new team of the OCDS office bearers and wish them all the best in their responsibility.

The Community comprises Nine in Temporary Promises; Twelve in Novitiate Formation and Four in Initial Formation.
