CEREMONIES – LOWER MAINLAND COMMUNITIES : WESTERN CANADA OCDS

How blessed the Lower Mainland Communities to have their Ceremonies on October 1, 2015, the Feast of St. Therese. The Ceremonies took place at St. Edmund’s Parish, North Vancouver, BC during a solemn Eucharistic Celebration officiated by Fr. Jerald D’Souza with St. Edmund’s parishioners, OCDS members, their family and friends in attendance.

Seven candidates received their scapulars, one candidate made her First Promise and four candidates made their Definitive Promises. The Vancouver Community has much reason to be particularly joyful for a bonanza year with seven of the twelve candidates being members of their community.

The candidates radiated pure contagious joy which was shared by all present with tears and smiles. The occasion culminated with refreshments and fellowship in the parish hall.
