WAVES OF GRACE AT DIVINE SPRINGS RETREAT CENTRE, XELLIM
The Divine Springs Retreat Centre, Xellim, became a fountain of grace and renewal as it hosted a series of powerful spiritual events that deeply touched the hearts of the faithful, religious, and clergy alike.

1. One-Day Retreat for the Faithful – 24 September 2025

On 24 September, Divine Springs organized a one-day retreat for the faithful of the region. A large number of participants gathered to seek spiritual renewal and divine blessings.

The day began with praise and worship led by Br. Dominic and his team, who created an atmosphere of joyful prayer and heartfelt praise. The Word of God was preached by Fr. Joseph and Br. Alex, inspiring participants to grow in faith and deepen their commitment to the Lord.
In the afternoon, Fr. Joseph led a profound healing adoration, invoking God’s mercy and blessing upon all present. The day concluded with the Holy Eucharist, celebrated by Fr. Rovel D’Souza, who delivered a meaningful and touching homily.

After the retreat, refreshments were served, and Fr. Joseph expressed sincere gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of the day. Participants returned home spiritually renewed, filled with peace and thanksgiving.

2. Retreat for the Missionaries of Compassion – 27 September to 3 October 2025

From 27 September to 3 October, forty priests from the Missionaries of Compassion Congregation gathered at Divine Springs for a week-long spiritual retreat.

Preached by Fr. Rovel, the retreat guided the participants into deep reflection, renewal of priestly spirit, and personal encounter with Christ. The serene environment of Divine Springs offered an ideal setting for silence, contemplation, and prayer. All the priests expressed heartfelt gratitude for the spiritual nourishment and fraternal support they received during the retreat.

3. Retreat for the Sisters of St. Joseph of Cluny – 26 September to 4 October 2025

Simultaneously, from 26 September to 4 October, Fr. Joseph D’Souza conducted a week-long retreat for the Sisters of St. Joseph of Cluny.

Through inspiring talks, guided meditations, and adoration, the sisters were led into a profound renewal of their spiritual fervour and consecration to God. They experienced moments of deep peace, reflection, and joy in their vocation, drawing closer to the Lord who called them.

The back-to-back retreats during these days turned Divine Springs into a living oasis of grace, where hearts were healed, spirits renewed, and faith rekindled. True to its name, Divine Springs continues to be a beacon of prayer, healing, and transformation, offering people from all walks of life an encounter with God’s life-giving love.
