Denver organizes a special Rosary and Prayer
for Peace
While millions of people are living in a difficult time with
conflict and upheaval, there are still people eager to gather
together to pray for the country, the world, and peace.
At this vital juncture, the people of Colorado gathered together to
pray the Rosary of His Most Holy Mother in order to beseech God to
save America from today's chaos, immorality, and social upheaval and
to put an end to the war.
"A Public Rosary Rally was organized by Fr. Ronald Sequeira, OCD,
Spiritual Director of the Fatima Statue Apostolate in the
Archdiocese of Denver." Due to his organization and direction, there
was tremendous participation from the general public, including over
300 people from various parishes in the metro Denver region, to
witness faith and prayer. The Rally featured several aspects that
contributed to its success, including the distribution of rosaries
created in Bethlehem to those who requested them. The procession
bringing the Blessed Sacrament is led by Fr Rony, the Knights of
Columbus, altar servers, and a couple of deacons. While praying the
rosary, the Eucharistic procession moved around the grounds of St.
Frances Cabrini Parish and down the neighbouring sidewalk along S.
Pierce Street. The Shofar horn signalled the beginning of each
decade. The procession came to an end at the church. Fr Ronald
concluded the Rally by praying the benediction and praying for world
peace.
