Feast of St Therese and Carmel Family Gathering @ Talegaon
On the 1st of October, 2023, Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Talegaon came together to celebrate the Feast of St. Therese of Child Jesus, which was a momentous occasion filled with reverence and spirituality. This year's celebration held a special significance as the parish had the privilege of hosting a relic of St. Therese. Additionally, a special exhibition was organized to commemorate and shed light on the life and spirituality of this beloved saint. It was a day of reflection, prayer, and communal devotion, bringing the parishioners and faithful closer to the teachings and example of St. Therese.

On the 2nd of October, the Talegaon community organized the first-ever Carmel Family Gathering in Talegaon for the Pune Region. The event brought together approximately 48 religious participants from various religious communities. The resource person for the gathering was Fr. Regan D'Souza, who delivered an enlightening talk on the life and spirituality of St. Therese of Child Jesus. His presentation provided valuable insights into the teachings and experiences of the saint, enriching the understanding of all attendees. To foster a sense of community and camaraderie among participants, an icebreaker activity was organized. This helped in breaking the initial barriers and creating a friendly atmosphere. Participants had the opportunity to share their personal experiences, reflections, and insights related to St. Therese's spirituality. This sharing promoted a deeper connection and understanding among the religious. The maiden gathering was a meaningful and enriching day that contributed to the spiritual growth and fellowship of all those in attendance. After the celebration fellowship was shared by all.
