Western Region Friars' Regional Meeting
The Western Region of Vancouver BC convened a community gathering at the picturesque setting of Deroche, Little Flower Monastery, Carmel Hill, on October 2, 2023. This gathering aimed to foster spiritual growth, communal bonding, and a deeper understanding of their patron saint, St. Therese. The event encompassed a range of activities including Holy Mass, a study and reflection session on St. Therese and the constitution, Midday Prayer, lunch, and recreational activities.

The Western Region gathering at Deroche was a spiritually enriching and unifying experience for the friars of the Western Region of Vancouver BC. It reaffirmed their commitment to their life as Carmelites, their patron saint, St. Therese, and their shared values as a community. The event not only deepened their spiritual understanding but also fostered stronger bonds of friendship and support among the friars.
