A NEW FLOWER IN THE GARDEN OF CARMEL
“It takes courage to answer a call…It takes courage to give your all….It takes courage to risk your name….it takes courage to be true…” is a popular hymn. Taking COURAGE and giving his ALL Br. Riksan Moras of the Holy Spirit, the lone Novice of the 2018-2019 batch made his First Profession at Tapovana, on 14th November, 2019 on the Feast of All Carmelite Saints. Our Provincial, Fr. Charles Serrao received his vows. Around 23 priests and 60 faithful joined him for a solemn mass and banquet. Frs. Richard Saldhana and Richard Menezes steered the liturgy and felicitation. Fr. Ashwin D’Silva who had shown the way to Carmel to Br. Riksan vested him with Carmelite garb. It was a day of exuberant joy for the Moras Family hailing from Nainad parish of Mangalore Diocese which has already given one flower to the Lord’s vineyard in the person of Sr. Renita Moras, UFS. May God bless them plentifully!
