Tailoring Centre @ Kadaganchi
On November 29, 2023, the Carmel Jyothi Tailoring Centre in Kadaganchi, a unit under the Carmel Jyothi Charitable Trust, was inaugurated at 10:45 am. The event was graced by Fr. William Miranda OCD, Secretary for Social Work, Fr. Deepak Thomas KJ OCD, Superior of Carmel Sannidhi and Director of Carmel Jyothi Social Welfare Centre, Sr. Shilpha Carmel Jyothi Social Work Coordinator, Mr. Biranna Waggi (Person in Charge of the Hanuman Temple), Mr. Shanthappa Bhute, Teacher Mounamma, and 35 students.

The program commenced with a welcome song by the participants. The guests were greeted with a flower. Following the warm welcome, Fr. Deepak Thomas, along with Mr. Biranna Waggi, Mr. Shanthappa Bhute, and Teacher Mounamma, inaugurated the new tailoring unit by cutting the ribbon.

Post-inauguration, Fr. William addressed the students, providing insights into the rules and regulations of the tailoring school, addressing queries, and clarifying doubts. Subsequently, Fr. Deepak conveyed his best wishes to the participants. The attendees were then grouped, and Sister, along with the teacher, provided further instructions.

Serving as the Master of Ceremonies, Sr. Shilpa guided the program, and with a vote of thanks, the inaugural event concluded. Tea and snacks were offered to the participants after the program.
