Two Brothers Excel in Studies
Bros. Jesvin Tom Benoy and Prithesh Steeve Crasta, the alumni of our
college of Pushpashrama, Institute of Philosophy and Religion and
presently the first-year theology students at Carmel Hill, Mangalore,
made the KG province proud by decorating themselves in gold medals from
St. Philomena’s College, Mysore for the batch 2017 -2020. Br. Jesvin
scored the highest marks in General English and Alternate English and Br
Prithesh scored the highest in Optional English (Literature) and
Philosophy. They were awarded gold medals during the convocation
ceremony held at St. Philomena’s indoor stadium on 26th March 2022. What
distinguishes their achievements was that being correspondent students
and not attending classes at the college, they received these accolades
among the regular college attending students. In receiving these medals,
they not only made the province proud but have also etched their names
in the chronicles of St. Philomena’s college. Br Jesvin hails from New
Delhi and Br Prithesh hails from Vamanjoor, Mangalore. The KG Province
congratulates these golden Brothers for their spectacular achievement in
their college studies and prays for God’s choicest blessings as they
continue their journey in the garden of Carmel as the chosen instruments
of Jesus. May they become true sons of Sts. Teresa of Avila and John of
the Cross experiencing the golden moments in Carmel.
