A New Master in Philosophy!!!
We are extremely happy to inform you that, on 16th of March, Fr. Vijay D’Costa OCD successfully defended his thesis titled "The Sense of the Levinasian Subject and its Relevance Today" as a requirements for the Licentiate in Philosophy. (Emmanuel Levinas is one of the most influential 20th century post modern French phenomenologist and ethical thinker.) His defense session was moderated by Prof. Sidney Mascarenhas OFM, a well know Levinasian scholar in India, who was also his second guide together with Prof. Mathew Chandrankunnel from DVK who guided him to draft his thesis and two others readers. Fr. Vijay D’Costa also was awareded a scholarship for his thesis this year. Fr. Vijay we are proud of you. May God bless You.
