Report of the Inauguration of the
Eight-Month Formation Course - June 29, 2026:
Dhyana Sadhana solemnly initiated its comprehensive eight-month
formation course. The inauguration was intentionally scheduled to
coincide with the Solemnity of Saints Peter and Paul, one of the
most venerable feasts in the liturgical calendar. This strategic
alignment infused the commencement with profound ecclesial
significance, invoking the foundational pillars of Christian
leadership, faith, and resilience as a guiding light for the
incoming cohort.
The inaugural proceedings commenced with the celebration of the Holy
Eucharist, which served as the spiritual cornerstone of the day. The
liturgy was graciously presided over by Rev. Fr Silvestre D'Souza,
the Vicar Provincial. A central highlight of the celebration was Fr
Silvestre’s profoundly inspiring and spiritually enriching homily.
His address not only set a contemplative and motivational tone for
the academic year but also challenged the participants to approach
their upcoming months of formation with open hearts and rigorous
intellectual and spiritual dedication.
The newly initiated batch comprises a total of twenty-seven
registered participants, representing a diverse assembly of
individuals committed to deep spiritual formation. For the inaugural
session, eighteen participants were physically present to witness
and participate in the inaugural Mass. The remaining nine
individuals, currently delayed by travel arrangements, are expected
to arrive at the campus shortly.
In a gesture highlighting the spiritual identity of the institution,
the incoming batch was formally entrusted to the heavenly
intercession of St. Elizabeth of the Trinity, the patroness of
Dhyana Sadhana. By placing the students under her spiritual
guardianship, the administration emphasized a commitment to
interiority, deep prayerful life, and contemplative study, those
very ideals central to the patroness's legacy. This dedication marks
a hopeful, structured beginning to what promises to be a
transformative journey for all involved. We extend our best wishes
to all the participants and pray God’s abundant blessings on the
community members.
