A day filled with Joy and Togetherness
St Therese of the child Jesus OCDS community picnic held on 26th April 2025 at Greenfield Inn, Varca, was a truly enjoyable and memorable gathering. The venue offered a lovely ambience, complemented by a refreshing cool breeze that added to the relaxed and cheerful atmosphere of the day. Members had a wonderful time engaging in swimming pool activities, sharing laughter and enjoying each other’s company. The food was delicious, the exotic salad and fruit salad prepared by our very own members was truly appreciated by all.

The day was filled with lively entertainment. The dancing brought great energy, showcasing some wonderful moves that everyone thoroughly enjoyed. The tug -of-war game turned out to be a highlight, with the ladies putting up an impressive show of strength and team spirit. The men were taken by surprise and were slow to react. The antakshari session added to the fun, bringing out enthusiasm, and lots of laughter and the memory game was simply fantastic. Our Spiritual Assistant, Fr Don Tony D'souza, gracious presence truly made a difference, adding warmth and a special sense of togetherness to the gathering.

The enthusiastic response and participation from everyone made the picnic even more special. It was heartwarming to witness such unity and joy among all present.

Overall, it was a day filled with joy, fellowship, fun, and cherished memories.
