Retreat, Tridium, and Mt Carmel Solemnity at Koteshwar
In preparation for the solemnity of Our Lady of Mt Carmel at Carmel Ashram, Katkere, a three days retreat from 4.00 pm to 7.00 pm was organized. Fr Roman Pinto and Fr Cyril Lobo led the faithful to have a prayerful retreat. Tridium was also celebrated and on Saturday, July 15, 2023 Solemnity of our Lady of Mount Carmel, the patroness of the monastery was celebrated.

The concelebrated mass was presided over by Rev Fr. Ferdinand Gonsalves, the Vicar General of Udupi Diocese. The Dean of Kundapur deanery, Rev. Fr. Stany Tauro, and other diocesan and religious priests were present for the feast. More than 600 people gathered for the Eucharistic celebration and received the scapular of our Lady of Mount Carmel.

Fr. Alwyn Sequeira led the choir and Fr Praveen Pinto, Superior of the Monastery proposed the vote of thanks to all.
