Postulants enter Canonical Novitiate
The Vestition ceremony of the Nine Novices was held during the evening prayer at Malisho Novitiate Community, Tanzania on July 19, 2021. Rev. Fr. Praveen Frank, Regional Vicar conducted rite of Vestition and inducted the postulants to the novitiate community to commence the canonical year of novitiate. The Vicar invited them to be rooted in Carmelite Charism as they live the important year of their priestly formation in the garden of Carmel.

The appointment letters of the new Novice Master, Fr. Reginald Mworia OCD and Fr Abel Mbogho, as Assistant Novice Master were read. After the Vestition ceremony, the outgoing novices felicitated the new novices and wished them every success. The Vicariate of Tanzania congratulates these blooming young Carmelites and wishes them a fruitful year of novitiate.
