6 NEW PRIESTS TO THE CARMELITE ORDER
The Karnataka Goa Province of the Discalced Carmelites rejoiced in thanksgiving to God on the 8th of July 2020 for the gift of 6 new priests to the Church and the province in the persons of Frs. Wilson Peter Tauro, Sunil D’Souza, Ivan Sequeira, Anoop Kiran Fernandes, Roshan Monteiro and Ashwin Prashant D’Souza. The Celebration was presided by Most Rev. Peter Paul Saldanha, Bishop of Mangalore Diocese at Infant Jesus Shrine, Bikarnakatte, Mangaluru. Since there were restrictions in the number of people during public gatherings, only close relatives and a few priests were present. The service was hosted online on “Carmel Kiran” YouTube Channel on that day.
