Pushpashrama Annual Day 2024
Pushpashrama Annual Day, a celebration of talent, dedication, and
camaraderie, was held on the 18th of February 2024, marking the
culmination of two months of intense competitions. The event served
as a platform for students to showcase their skills and creativity
in various domains.
Throughout the preceding two months, students engaged in seventeen
competitions, both individual and group-based. These competitions
encompassed a wide array of activities, ranging from academic
pursuits to artistic expressions, all reflecting the ethos of St.
Therese of Lisieux. Credit goes to Fr. Lancy Levis and Fr. Don Tony
D’Souza for meticulously organizing these competitions, ensuring a
smooth and enriching experience for all participants.
The annual day event commenced with a warm welcome extended by Fr.
Oswald Crasta, the Rector of Pushpashrama. Rev. Fr. Archibald
Gonsalves OCD, the Vicar Provincial, graced the occasion as the
chief guest. His insightful address on the themes of 'growth,'
'progress,' and 'success' resonated deeply with the audience,
inspiring both students and faculty alike. Fr. Archibald Gonsalves
also had the honour of presenting the prizes to the deserving
winners, acknowledging their hard work and achievements.
The festivities continued with a captivating cultural program,
meticulously crafted and performed by the students. From
soul-stirring music to captivating dance performances, and
thought-provoking skits, every aspect of the cultural program
showcased the immense talent and creativity prevalent among the
student body.
Thus, Pushpashrama Annual Day 2024 was a resounding success, thanks
to the collective efforts of all involved. The event provided a
platform for students to exhibit their talents. The event was
witnessed by the friars of the Mysuru region. The program concluded
with the singing of the institute's anthem.
