Blood Donation and Eye Check-Up Camp at St. Mary's Church, Hegde Nagar
St. Mary's Church, Hegde Nagar, in collaboration with Carmel Jyothi Charitable Trust, Sri Manyatha Voluntary Blood Centre, and Sri Sai Eye Hospital, organized a commendable initiative comprising a blood donation camp and an eye check-up camp on 18th February 2024. The event aimed to address critical healthcare needs within the community and promote the spirit of philanthropy and health awareness.

The blood donation camp witnessed active participation from the community. A total of 34 individuals generously volunteered to donate blood. The eye check-up camp catered to the vision health needs of the community. A significant number of individuals, totalling 98, availed themselves of this service. Through comprehensive eye examinations, potential vision problems were identified, enabling timely intervention and treatment.

As a result of the eye check-up camp, 20 individuals were identified as needing cataract surgery. The collaboration with Sri Sai Eye Hospital ensures that these individuals will receive the necessary treatment, restoring their vision and improving their quality of life.
