Sacrament of Confirmation @ Hegdenagar Church
It was a memorable event for the parish of St. Mary’s church Hegdenagar, Bengaluru. On the 18th of February2022 twenty children received sacrament of confirmation and professed her strong faith in Christ. The Eucharist celebration was presided over by Rt. Rev. Dr. Peter Machado, Archbishop of Bangalore. The whole liturgy was beautifully animated by the children who received confirmation. The children were trained by our parish catechists over a year. The parish priest Fr. Boniface D’ Souza felicitated Archbishop Peter Machado for all his support and encouragement and proposed a vote of thanks towards the end of mass. The mass was concelebrated by Archbishop’s secretary Deacon George, Parish priest Fr. Boniface D’ Souza, and Fr. Adarsh Rodrigues. The melodious choir was conducted by Fr. Jovel added solemnity to the spiritual celebration. Thereafter a fraternal meal was served to his Grace Most Rev. Dr. Peter Machado. We congratulate these twenty children and pray that they truly become the soldiers of Christ in their Christian faith.
