CEREMONIES AT GUARDIAN ANGELS CHURCH, VANCOUVER BC
On 13th November 2021, the Communities of St. John of the Cross and St. Teresa of Jesus had much reason to celebrate. It was a joyous occasion as members of both communities, Rowena Lagunzad, Maritess Tan, Sheila Conception, Maria Vivas, Joey Sepidoza and Carmelita Weichert made their Definitive Promises; Talisa Chan made her First Promise; and Catherine Miu received the Rite of Admission.

Fr. Jerald D’Souza, Provincial Delegate, officiated the Rites and presided over the Eucharistic Celebration with concelebrants Fr. John Pinto, Fr. Victor Fernandes, Fr. Mario Fernandes, and Spiritual Assistant of St. John of the Cross Fr. Cannio Cardozo. The participation and presence of so many friars augmented the celebration and added more significance to the occasion. Fr. Jerald D’Souza delivered a soul-searching homily and ignited the Carmelite zeal for evangelization through our personal witness of the Carmelite life.

The occasion concluded with fellowship over lunch at a nearby establishment. It was truly a blessed day!
