TEN GLORIOUS YEARS OF MOUNT CARMEL SCHOOL, HOOVINAHADAGALLI
December 14th 2019, was a landmark day for Huvinahadagali as Mount Carmel School celebrated it Decennial Anniversary. The programme began at 5.30 pm and came to close by 9 pm. The Chief guests included Rev. Fr. Charles Serrao, Provincial and President of Trust; Rev. Fr. Archibald Gonsalves, Founder of Carmel Jnana Trust. Other guests of honour included Rev. Frs. Cyprian Fernandes, Elias D’Souza, Prakash Tauro, Fr. Joseph D’Souza Sr, Suresh Saldanha, Silvestre D’Souza, William Miranda and Sr. Meera (ASMI). Also the Local Management consisting of Frs. Victor Pais, Henry Moras, Regan D’Souza and Denzil Veigas were felicitated. Our Carmelite priests from Margao, Bengaluru, Honnavar, Kushal Nagar, Mangalore, Mysore were present.

After lighting of Lamp, Release of Souvenir and Presidential Address and felicitation, the children presented a beautiful spectacle of talent which showed not only singing and dance but also dramatics, martial arts (karate), yoga, aerobics, etc. The programme was attended by over 3000 people. The celebration was one of its kind and was well appreciated by the audience.
