Vianney Sunday at Infant
Mary Parish, Bajjodi
Bajjodi, 07 August: The parishioners of
Infant Mary Church made Sunday, the 7th of
August special for the priests by
celebrating “Priests Day” to mark the Feast
of St John Vianney - the Patron of Priests.
Vianney Sunday is the day when our lay
faithful get an opportunity to express their
appreciation, affection and gratitude to
priests. On the occasion of "Vianney
Sunday”, the children of the parish from
classes 1 to 10th prepared a variety of
cards with pictures, quotes and life of St.
John Maria Vianney, along with wishes to
priests of our parish displaying their
creativity, talents and enthusiasm. ICYM
members during the meeting showed their love
and respect to priests with a flower bouquet
and singing a meaningful wishing Song.
Parishioners prayed during all the masses
for priests. The evening Adoration too was
dedicated to pray for all priests and their
intentions.
Fr. Ivan D'souza, on behalf of himself and
other priests, thanked the children, youth
and parishioners for their love, support and
prayers.
