Mount Carmel OCDS community (Margao): beginning anew!
The month of August has been really auspicious for Our Lady of Mount Carmel OCDS Community at Margao. We had the opportunity to commence our monthly fraternity meetings on 8th of August 2021, after the lockdown. We started the meetings of the year with the Eucharistic Celebration through which we thanked the Almighty God for His mercy on our community for keeping us safe, as some of our members were affected by Covid.

During the Eucharistic Celebration we had the admittance of Bro. John Marshall into Initial Formation – I, and inducted two members Mrs. Anna Maria Dacosta and Mrs. Inez Fernandes into Aspirancy. As the Church celebrated St. John Vianney’s Feast, we took the opportunity to thank God for all our Carmelite friars and Our Spiritual Assistant Fr. Jeevan Tauro under whose guidance and care our community is blooming spiritually.

We now look forward to the various opportunities provided by the Lord to our community to love and serve Him. So, we take this opportunity to invite you to come and see what the good Lord is doing in the lives of every member of our community and be a part of it!
