A Meaningful Way of the Cross at Infant
Jesus Shrine, Pushpashrama
On Good Friday, March 29, 2024, faithful around the world gathered
to commemorate and reflect upon the ultimate sacrifice of Jesus
Christ for the salvation of humanity. It is a day deeply ingrained
in Christian tradition, marked by solemn observances and heartfelt
prayers as believers express gratitude to God for the gift of His
Son.
At the Infant Jesus Shrine, Pushpashrama, the faithful came together
to participate in a meaningful Way of the Cross, a cherished
tradition in the Church where believers journey alongside Jesus as
he carries his cross to Calvary. Led by the brothers, the Way of the
Cross at Infant Jesus Shrine took on a touching significance as they
meticulously acted out the different scenes of Jesus' journey to
Calvary. Through their portrayal, the faithful were able to recall
and witness the trials, anguish, and unwavering faith of Jesus
amidst his suffering.
The Way of the Cross at Infant Jesus Shrine provided the devotees
with a unique opportunity to engage both emotionally and spiritually
with the events of Good Friday.
