Journeying through the Psalms
On August 26, 2024, Fr. Vishan Monis conducted a week-long course on the Book of Psalms, organized by the Spiritual Assistant, Fr. Lancy Mendonca. This enriching program brought together the members of the OCDS communities of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel and St. Therese of the Child Jesus, Margao.

The course delved into the Psalms’ poetic beauty, exploring their profound themes of worship, trust, and expressions of faith. Participants discovered how these ancient songs, filled with spiritual wisdom, continue to inspire and guide us on our personal faith journeys.


Discovering the Depths of Scripture: An Introduction to the Bible
On September 16, 2024, the OCDS communities of Our Lady of Mount Carmel and St. Therese of the Child Jesus, Margao, gathered for an enlightening course on the Bible. Led by Fr. Roshan Monteiro and organized by Spiritual Assistant Fr. Lancy Mendonca, the session provided a comprehensive introduction to the Bible.

Fr. Roshan guided the participants through the historical context, structure, and central themes of the Bible, offering a solid foundation for deeper engagement with sacred texts. The course empowered participants with practical insights on how to apply biblical teachings in their everyday lives, enriching their spiritual journeys.
