Admirari Youth Camp 2024 at Little Flower Monastery
On September 14-15, 2024, CFC-Youth Greater Vancouver North A hosted an inspiring and spiritually enriching Admirari Youth Camp at Little Flower Monastery, Carmel Hill, Deroche, BC. The camp, themed Admirari—Latin for "to marvel"—was based on the powerful message from Romans 11:36: "For from Him and through Him and for Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever!" This theme invited participants to contemplate the wonders of God's works in their lives and to grow deeper in faith and spiritual awareness.

The camp was graced with the presence of 20 new participants, each eager to deepen their relationship with Christ. A dedicated team of 30 enthusiastic youth leaders led the sessions, fostering an atmosphere of fellowship, prayer, and spiritual discovery.

The community expressed heartfelt gratitude to Fr. Mario Fernandes, OCD, Director of the Retreat Centre, for his spiritual guidance throughout the camp. Special thanks were also extended to Fr. Vincent Dsouza, OCD, Superior of the monastery, and Fr. Stephen Lobo, OCD, Assistant Director, whose support and presence contributed to the camp's success.

This inspiring weekend marked a turning point for many young participants, encouraging them to live out their faith more fully and recognize God's presence in their daily lives.
