Fr Jocy’s ‘Amar Antony’ Konkani play staged at Koteshwar
The Indian Catholic Youth Movement of St Anthony’s Parish, Koteshwar hosted a vibrant cultural evening titled ‘Festive Eve’ on the evening of the feast of the Parish at Koteshwar. The event was held at the Divine Mercy Hall, Carmel Ashram, Katkere on 6th of November showcasing the talent and creativity of the parish community.

The highlight of the evening was the Konkani Comedy Play ‘Amar Anthony,’ written and directed by Fr Jocy Siddakatte which involved the parishioners as the actors of the drama. The storyline revolved around themes of sacrifice, and hard work, capturing the audience's attention from the very beginning. Though the drama had several occasions for laughter, it still conveyed the message deeply. The actors displayed exceptional talent, bringing their characters to life with convincing expressions and dialogue delivery.
