50th Birthday Celebration of Fr. Praveen Pinto
The parish community of Koteshwar came together to celebrate the 50th birthday of Fr. Praveen Pinto, marking a special milestone for a beloved and dedicated priest on November 04, 2024. The event was filled with joy, gratitude, and heartfelt tributes. Parishioners, well-wishers, family and friends gathered to express their appreciation for Fr. Praveen’s tireless service and spiritual guidance over the years.

The celebration began with a thanksgiving Mass, led by Fr. Praveen himself, offering prayers for the blessings received throughout his life and ministry. The homily was preached by Fr Jocy Siddakatte. Several priests of the deanery joined the celebration. This was followed by a stage program, where members of the parish council, and various church organizations delivered speeches highlighting his compassionate nature, leadership, and commitment to the parish. The kids of the parish performed a classical welcome dance. Fr Alwyn Sequeira on behalf of the Carmelite Community raised the toast for the occasion. Fr Praveen while cutting the cake was joined by his mother, brother and other family members on the occasion. The Parish Choir sang a beautiful wishing song!

After this, Fr Praveen expressed his gratitude, thanking the parishioners for their love and support. The evening concluded with a community dinner, making it a memorable celebration filled with warmth, love, and togetherness.
