Karnataka Bishop’s at Ryshivana
It was a moment of honour to all of us Carmelites of Karnataka-Goa Province and especially to the members of our Spirituality Institute Ryshivana, to have the presence of 13 Bishops of Karnataka belonging to all the three rites. They spent four days in Ryshivana for their retreat from March 14-17, 2021 under the guidance of Fr Alvito Fernandes. All the Bishops had a great appreciation for the talks of Fr. Alvito on contemplative prayer and above all they were enamoured of his life-style which was reflected in his retreat talks. Being inspired by this retreat, most of the Bishops have booked him in advance to preach the retreat to the priests of their Dioceses. Fr Alvito has made the institute and the Province proud through his life and preaching. We wish him all the best in his new responsibility.
