Dhyana Sadhana Centre Celebrates Convocation amidst Sacred Echoes
A tranquil haven nestled amidst the hum of daily life; the Dhyana Sadhana Centre of Holistic Spirituality transformed into a vibrant tapestry of celebration on March 9th, 2025. The air, thick with the scent of incense and anticipation, witnessed a convocation that resonated with both solemnity and joy, a testament to the transformative journey of its participants.

The celebration began with the sacred cadence of a mass, a spiritual symphony presided by Fr. Silvestre Dsouza, Provincial Superior, whose presence radiated a quiet authority. The priests from neighbouring monasteries, like silent sentinels of faith, added a depth of reverence to the gathering. Fr. Alphonse Britto, the councillor in charge of spirituality, delivered a sermon that painted vivid pictures of inner growth, his words weaving through the congregation like threads of golden light.

Fr. Richard Menezes, with the precision of a seasoned storyteller, unveiled the centre’s annual report, chronicling a year of dedicated learning and spiritual exploration. Fr. Silvestre Dsouza, the provincial, then delivered a convocation message that served as a beacon, guiding the graduates towards a future illuminated by their newfound wisdom.

The crescendo of the ceremony arrived as Fr. Archibald Gonsalves, the first councillor, announced the names of the graduating participants. Each name, a note in the day's grand melody, was met with applause as the president awarded the hard-earned certificates, symbols of a spiritual metamorphosis. Sr. Shilja UFS, speaking on behalf of the participants, offered a heartfelt expression of gratitude, her words a bouquet of appreciation for the centre’s nurturing guidance.

As the echoes of the mass were still ringing in the ears, a new wave of celebration encompassed the gathering: the anticipated birthday of Fr. Sandeep Kumar. The atmosphere shifted, transforming from solemn reverence to jubilant festivity. Fr. Jeevan Tauro, with a twinkle in his eye, raised a toast, his words painting a portrait of Fr. Sandeep's joyous spirit.

The day culminated in a sumptuous meal, a feast for both body and soul, where laughter and conversation flowed as freely as the shared food. The Dhyana Sadhana Centre, for a brief, glorious moment, became a microcosm of community, a place where spiritual growth and human connection intertwined. The event, a vibrant mosaic of prayer, learning, and celebration, left an indelible mark on all who were fortunate enough to witness it, a reminder of the enduring power of holistic spirituality.
