and Fraternity
On January 31st, the Asha Deepa community came dynamic with joy and
celebration as it marked Asha Deepa Day, a grand cultural evening
that radiated the spirit of togetherness and artistic expression.
The event was a vibrant showcase of talent, confidence, and
fraternity, performed with great enthusiasm by the brothers.
The occasion was graced by the esteemed presence of Rev. Fr. Roberto
Maria Pirastu and Rev. Fr. Christianus Surinono, the General
Definitors, whose visit added a special significance to the
celebration. Fr. Roberto, who was set to commence the General
Pastoral visit to the community, was the chief guest for the
evening.
Adding to the solemnity of the event, Fr. Silvestre D’Souza, the
Provincial, presided over the gathering and gave an inspiring
message. The celebration witnessed an impressive turnout, with
regional priests, brothers, and the parents of the brothers joining
in the festivity.
The highlight of the evening was a captivating biblical drama, "Gehazi,"
written by Fr. Jocy from Siddakatte. This thought-provoking
performance left a deep impression on the audience, inspiring them
with its powerful message and artistic brilliance.
Beyond the performances, Asha Deepa Day was a demonstration to the
